The organisers would very much appreciate if you could spare a few minutes to make an abstract of your talk accessible to the audience. Please find below guidelines for the online submission.<\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_4_5 fusion-builder-column-2 fusion-four-fifth fusion-column-first 4_5\"  style='margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:20px;width:79.2%; margin-right: 4%;'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"   data-bg-url=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-text\"><h3>Guidelines for submission<\/h3>\n<p><b>Please read the instructions carefully.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3>Abstract Format<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The text should not exceed <strong>300 words<\/strong> (max. limit 500 words), excluding title and authors.<\/li>\n<li>A maximum of <strong>three institutions per author<\/strong> is allowed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tables<\/strong> may be included.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No graphics<\/strong> are allowed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Before you get started&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p>Type your abstract in a common Word Processor (e.g. MS Word). Please save a copy of the file with the abstract text only (no title or authors). This file can then be used for a &#8220;file upload&#8221; (most convenient way of submission). The upload feature supports and converts tables within the document. Special characters are widely supported.<\/p>\n<h3>When entering the site&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p><strong>An account with your name has already been created. The proposed title of your talk has been entered in the system.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Please login with the login and password sent to you by email on the right side of the page (&#8220;returning users&#8221;). In case you cannot retrieve your access data, please <a href=\"mailto:conference@eshg.org\">email us<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the welcome area you will see &#8220;<strong>Invited Abstracts<\/strong>&#8221; in a grey frame. Below this, you will see the <strong>proposed title of your talk<\/strong>* with a yellow &#8220;incomplete&#8221; button. Please <strong>click on the title<\/strong> in order to enter the remaining data step by step:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Author(s)<\/strong>. The first author was pre-filled by the system. You may correct the data or enter additional authors. You will be able to change the sequence of the authors in case this is necessary.<br \/>\nYou will have to enter a disclosure information for each author.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Abstract Text<\/strong>. The text can be uploaded from a &#8220;Word&#8221; document (formatting, special characters and tables will be recognised) or simply &#8220;copied\/pasted&#8221;. Format, tables and special characters are recognised only when using Internet Explorer.<\/li>\n<li>Up to <strong>3 Keywords<\/strong> (optional)<\/li>\n<li>In case you need to <strong>change the proposed title<\/strong>*, simply click on the &#8220;Title&#8221; step in the navigation bar, edit the text and save your entry by clicking &#8220;Continue&#8221;. <strong>Please note:\u00a0<\/strong>The system is\u00a0currently experiencing issues when copy\/pasting the title from a Word document into the Abstract Title Box (the system might give you an error message stating that the title exceeds 1,000 characters). Please <strong>type in the title<\/strong>, in case you need to amend it from the one proposed and inform us via <a href=\"conference@eshg.org\">email <\/a>so that we can update the website with the new title of your talk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*Please note: In case we did not yet receive a tentative title of your abstract, the abstract will display &#8220;Title to be confirmed&#8221;. Please change it accordingly.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You will see a <strong>summary of your submission<\/strong> in the last step (&#8220;<strong>Review my work<\/strong>&#8220;), which you may print. Some advanced features will be available only with this browser. However, submission is possible with other browser versions. A list of compatible browsers is given on the login page.<\/li>\n<li>When using <strong>Internet Explorer<\/strong>, please <strong>deactivate the &#8220;compatibility view&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>IMPORTANT NOTICE:<\/strong> The system is\u00a0currently experiencing issues when copy\/pasting the title from a Word document into the Abstract Title Box\u00a0(the system might give you an error message stating that the title exceeds 1,000 characters). Please <strong>type in<\/strong> the title, in case you need to amend it from the one proposed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cookies<\/strong> must be enabled on your system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Corrections &#8211; Amendments<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>title of your abstract<\/strong> is displayed in the Welcome Area, together with the information on whether the submission is complete or incomplete. To edit the abstract, simply <strong>click on the title step<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Changes and editing<\/strong> can be made at any time.<\/li>\n<li>The submission system stores the information in &#8220;real time&#8221;. The moment you reach the <strong>Summary<\/strong> within the submission process and the system tells you &#8220;<strong>This submission is complete<\/strong>&#8221; your abstract is completed and has been received. However you will still be able to come back and make modifications until the deadline.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Please make sure you print the summary page for your records<\/strong>. The system also has an e-mail confirmation feature.
