The ESHG invites you to submit Breaking Abstracts for inclusion in the Concurrent Session on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 11:00-12:30 hrs.<\/h2>\n

Breaking Abstract submission is now open.
\nThe deadline for submission is Thursday, May 9, 2019, 24.00 hrs CET (no extension, no exceptions).<\/h4>\n<\/div>

Important Information on the Selection Process of Breaking Abstracts<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • This submission format is not intended for “Late Posters” (if you missed the original submission deadline), but for your very latest research breakthrough<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • The SPC will consider a maximum of<\/strong> 6 abstracts of unpublished work<\/strong> (bioRxiv submitted\/in press are acceptable) or work published after February 1, 2019 <\/strong>being expected to have a major impact in the field.<\/li>\n
  • Accepted talks will be exclusively assigned to the “Breaking Abstracts” concurrent session<\/em> on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 11:00 hrs<\/b>. If you cannot be in Gothenburg on this date, you should not be entered as the presenter of the paper.<\/li>\n
  • If your submission cannot<\/em> be accepted as a talk in the “Breaking Abstracts”<\/em> session, it will not be accepted<\/span> for presentation in a different format\u00a0at the meeting <\/strong> (no poster or electronic poster).<\/li>\n
  • Abstracts containing\u00a0no results <\/strong>will be\u00a0rejected<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • All abstracts are peer-reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Also note these important points: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    • You may be presenting author of\u00a0a poster, but not of a talk<\/strong><\/strong> in any of the concurrent sessions in order to submit.<\/li>\n
    • The presentation at the meeting will be the condition for the publication of the abstract <\/strong><\/strong>in the electronic supplement of the European Journal of Human Genetics.<\/li>\n
    • By submitting an abstract you agree that your personal data (name, address, email, date of promotion) are being saved and used by the organiser <\/strong>in order to process your submission, enable the presentation at the meeting and the publication of the abstract. Your data is being stored within our abstract management system OASIS (by CTI \u00a0Meeting Technologies, USA), a certified subcontractor of the WMA GmbH, \u00a0and will not be passed on to third parties, but made available to the members of the Scientific Programme Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>
